What is MEA?

A merger between the Independent Band Collective and The Independent Art Collective, Midwest Emerging Artists is a not-for-profit organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our mission is to serve the city of Indianapolis by promoting a confluence of the arts. Music and art have a history of being separated in our community. Music, art and performance are a natural combination, and we are here to bring them together under the same roof, at the same event. It is also our duty to foster fine arts education for our youth.
